TERMS OF SERVICE — PLAYPULSE

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PlayPulse mobile application ("App"), published on Google Play by the developer ("we", "us", or "our").

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. THE APP

PlayPulse is a privacy-first mobile companion for Google Play developers. The App lets you sign in with a Google account, connect Play Console data, and view installs, ratings, crashes, ANRs, and store performance metrics on your phone. The App may cache report data locally on your device for faster loading.

PlayPulse is a third-party tool. It is not an official Google Play Console application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google LLC.

The App is for developer productivity and informational purposes only. It does not provide legal, financial, or business advice. You remain responsible for decisions you make about your apps and Play Console account.

2. ELIGIBILITY

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under the age required to consent in your country, you may use the App only with permission from a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf.

You should use the App only with a Google account that you are authorized to use for Play Developer / Play Console access.

3. GOOGLE SIGN-IN, FIREBASE, AND PLAY CONSOLE ACCESS

Certain features require you to sign in with a Google account through Google Sign-In and Firebase Authentication.

When signed in, the App requests access to Google services needed to read your Play Developer data, which may include:

  • Google Play Developer API
  • Google Play Developer Reporting API
  • Google Cloud Storage read access for Play Console export files when install reports are enabled

You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your Google account and device secure
  • All activity that occurs through your sign-in in the App
  • Ensuring you have the right to access the Play Console data you view through the App
  • Configuring Play Console report export and bucket access correctly when using install insights

You may sign out at any time from Settings. Signing out removes local session data as described in the Privacy Policy. Cached report data on your device may remain until you clear app storage or uninstall.

4. DATA ACCURACY AND AVAILABILITY

PlayPulse reads data directly from Google services. Metrics shown in the App depend on Google API availability, Play Console reporting schedules, export setup, and your account permissions.

We do not guarantee that stats are complete, real-time, error-free, or identical to every view in the Play Console web dashboard. Some install insights require Play Console report export setup and may not appear until exports are available in your linked bucket.

You should verify important business decisions using official Play Console tools when precision matters.

5. ACCEPTABLE USE

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Access Play Console data you are not authorized to view
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or interfere with the App, Google APIs, Firebase, or AdMob
  • Circumvent sign-in, authorization, or rewarded-ad flows
  • Use automated tools to abuse Google APIs or App functionality
  • Misrepresent PlayPulse as an official Google product

We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms.

6. ADVERTISEMENTS

PlayPulse may show optional rewarded advertisements through Google AdMob, such as support or unlock flows tied to report features. The App is not designed to force interstitial ads during normal stats browsing.

Ad delivery is handled by Google and is subject to Google's policies. See the Privacy Policy for more information about AdMob data practices.

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The App, including its design, branding, code, and original materials, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Google, Google Play, Play Console, Firebase, AdMob, and related marks are trademarks of Google LLC. PlayPulse is not endorsed by Google.

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and Google Play rules.

8. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The App integrates with third-party services, including Google Sign-In, Firebase Authentication, Google Play and Cloud APIs, and Google AdMob. Your use of those services is also subject to their terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.

9. DISCLAIMERS

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that cached or displayed data will always be accurate or available.

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, REVENUE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP OR RELIANCE ON METRICS SHOWN IN THE APP.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED TEN US DOLLARS (USD $10), EXCEPT WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE LIMITED BY LAW.

11. CHANGES TO THE APP AND TERMS

We may update the App or these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the App.

12. TERMINATION

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it and signing out.

We may discontinue the App or terminate or restrict your access if you breach these Terms or if required for legal, security, or operational reasons.

13. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence require otherwise.

Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India, unless applicable law gives you the right to bring claims in your home jurisdiction.
